Other informal performance opportunities could include playing for your friends and family, at an open mic, in a song circle, at a campground of a music festival or for your significant other. This is what we like to call an “informal” performance opportunity, (performances that don’t include a big stage and a big audience).

#GUITAR SHED KIRKWOOD FULL#
We were fortunate to perform at two of the finest music venues in Atlanta to a full house. Thank you, everyone, for your participation and support! Parents and grandparents sat nervously in the audience and held back tears of pride. Our teachers worked diligently to prepare accompaniments and made sure that everything ran smoothly on stage. Students prepared songs old and new as well as songs of their own. I am continually impressed by the creativity, talent, and emotion on display at our recitals. It has been a busy month at Guitar Shed with two packed recitals! Our Kids, Tweens, and Teens all had some very memorable performances.
